You were taken from us, By a terrible disease. We were dealt a wicked blow, That brought us to our knees.
We found comfort in the fact, That you feel pain no more. But time will never fill the void, Because it's you that we adore.

As time continues pressing on, It's wrong and so unfair. The days go by we live our lives, Even though you're not there.
